What could matter more than finding moments of impact in day to day life? Morning light lining up down the hallway, a friend throwing their head back at a great joke, the way scattered leaves look like stars in the right conditions. The mission of my life is to find these moments and preserve them. To make them a window and a mirror into my viewers' lives and mine. I believe that when we do this, when we take a photograph and make it a doorway, we open the power of empathy and delight and the unexpected. To make great art with photography I believe all we need is an eye for moments, and the courage to share them.
