Crystallized Ocean Fossil Earrings

While wandering the Tucson Mineral Show, I fell in love with these unusually intricate crystallized ocean fossils—tiny remnants of an ancient sea, transformed by time into something unexpectedly beautiful.

I wanted the earrings to feel alive, so I echoed the fossils’ quartz-like sparkle with Swarovski crystal and delicate sterling silver chains. The crystals catch the light and move as you do, giving the earrings lots of kinetic swing.

The backs are intentionally left open, allowing the remarkable fossils to be seen from both sides. No two are alike, and I’ve embraced their differences in this one-of-a-kind, asymmetrical pair.
