Born to a brilliant engineer father and a creative artist mother, my artistic work has been shaped by the opposing forces of each. My sculpture and jewelry pieces explore the delicate balancing of such tensions as between masculine versus feminine, strength versus vulnerability, certainty versus mystery, and our outer versus inner lives.

In my studio is a guiding quote, “Beauty will save the world,” by Fyodor Dostoevsky. The beauty is in the harmony that I locate between the opposing forces.
