Creativity is at the core of my being and has been navigating its way to the surface since I could hold my first set of crayons. I’m a self-described maker of all things that interest me. My artwork explores connections between technology and nature through sculpting and painting. The combination of my B.F.A. in Fine Arts and B.S. in Electrical Engineering influence my designs which integrate abstraction with realism in concept and aesthetics.

I love the natural earthly world around me and also appreciate advances in technology. My experiences in engineering complement my artistic practice in exercising both creativity and critical thinking skills. As I engage in communication and connection with others through my cherished devices, I can’t help but question how these materials will cycle back and be resolved by nature’s archival methods.

Using various mediums and techniques provides a distinct space for my hands to investigate my mind’s questions. The nuances of discovery are then translated into my artwork. I sculpt with synthetic materials such as plastics, electronics, rubber, tar rubble, and other human-made products. And paint in vibrant colors and layering to reflect the formation of a new nature. Becoming a fine artist has allowed me the freedom to let my dreams become reality and I’m excited to share my work with you.
