Laura Elyse was born in Kansas City, then moved to Colorado 16 years ago, and now lives in Monument, CO with her partner, children, and pets. Her art journey began in 2D work, but over time has evolved into 3D explorations, where she experiments with scale and mediums to bring her subjects to life. She holds an Associate of Arts from PPSC (2022) and a BA in Visual Arts from UCCS (2024).

Her art is all about celebrating the fun and whimsy of the natural world, embracing a wide range of materials and techniques, from paintings to sculptures, letting creativity guide the process. Inspired by her love for animals and nature, she creates pieces that spark joy, curiosity, and a sense of wonder in her viewers. Each work is an invitation to see the world through a playful lens, capturing the charm of her subjects.
